Global CEO / Founder & President, Representative Executive Officer

Graduate of the Faculty of Economics, Trent University (Ontario, Canada). An international businessman with over 30 years in the ICT industry, well versed in Silicon Valley technology, the overseas expansion of Japanese technology, SaaS and cloud platforms, and offshore development services in India.

He has held key positions at many major multinationals including Motorola (US), Novell (US), AXA Technology Services (France), Nortel Networks (Canada) and CTM (France). His broad expertise spans IT consulting, managed services, localization of overseas products, project management, offshore development, IoT devices, SaaS and cloud solutions.

Track record in CAE and simulation:

  • In January 2019, on the establishment of the Japanese subsidiary of OnScale, Inc. (US) — the world's first cloud-native CAE vendor — he was appointed Executive Manager of OnScale Japan G.K., leading the Japan business from launch through to overall management. He provided technical support to customers across a wide range of fields, including PMUT-based MEMS sensors, sonar, medical devices and flow meters, as well as user support for the predecessor product, PZFlex.
  • When OnScale, Inc. was acquired by Ansys, Inc. in April 2022, he transferred to Ansys and served as head of the OnScale business until July 2024.
  • In March 2024, he delivered an analysis project commissioned by a leading Japanese automotive company, in collaboration with Kogsys (UK), now part of the Quanscient group.
  • Since October 2024, he has served as President and Representative Executive Officer of Pacific Highway Japan G.K., the authorized distributor in Japan for Quanscient (Finland), with full-scale business operations under way since spring 2025.

Graduate of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, De Montfort University (UK), with business management studies at Stanford University, the University of California and Harvard University.

He has worked on product development in imaging and computer vision, wireless systems, handheld devices and GPUs. He has co-founded several technology ventures and, as CEO, led businesses from launch through to public listing.

International career:

  • In July 2010, became CEO of Silex Microsystems (Sweden), a leading MEMS-focused foundry, drawing on his Silicon Valley management experience to drive the company's growth.
  • As President & CEO of PortalPlayer, Inc. (US), led the company behind the low-power processor for the original Apple iPod and others, driving its 2004 NASDAQ IPO and its subsequent merger with NVIDIA.
  • Served as CEO of S3, Inc. (US), a major NASDAQ-listed multimedia semiconductor company, and led the establishment of a joint-venture foundry with Taiwan's UMC.
  • Spent seven years at National Semiconductor, where he launched two wireless business divisions. Began his career at British Telecom Research Laboratories in the UK.
  • As Chairman of Marwood Technology, provides strategic advisory services to US and European venture capital firms and their portfolio companies.

Graduate of the Faculty of Physics, University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada). A business consultant with 17 years of practical experience across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

After many years of consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), he focuses on market entry strategy, cross-border M&A asset due diligence and digital transformation strategy, with a track record in market analysis leveraging cloud processing and data analytics.
